Thomas More Institute Refund Policy

Please review the regulations below to see if you are eligible for a refund. Note that non-attendance does not constitute a withdrawal. You must notify the Institute of your desire to withdraw, either in writing at info@thomasmore.qc.ca or by phone.

Writing courses & Walking Tours:

  • Course withdrawals before the first session will receive a partial refund. A 20$ processing fee will be applied to withdrawals before the first session.
  • Refunds will not be issued after the first session.

One-day events and one-day courses:

  • No refunds will be issued unless the event or course is cancelled.

4-week courses – Discussion & Lecture courses:

  • Course withdrawals before the first session will receive a partial refund. A 20$ processing fee will be applied to withdrawals before the first session.
  • Refunds will not be issued after the first session.

6-week, 8-week and 10-week courses – Discussion & Lecture courses:

  • Course withdrawals before the first session will receive a partial refund. A 20$ processing fee will be applied to withdrawals before the first session.
  • Course withdrawals between the first session and second session will receive a partial refund. A cancellation fee of 50$ will be applied.
  • Refunds will not be issued after the second session.

12-week courses or longer – Discussion & Lecture courses:

  • Course withdrawals before the first session will receive a partial refund. A 20$ processing fee will be applied to withdrawals before the first session.
  • Course withdrawals between the first and third session will receive a partial refund. A cancellation fee of 50$ will be applied.
  • Refunds will not be issued after the third session.

Senior’s Outreach Program

  • Refunds will not be issued for Senior’s Outreach courses.
