Looking for a weekend activity to do with kids? The Thomas More Institute invites you to a morning of art-making! In this workshop, we invite children and their guardians to collaborate on art pieces. Using techniques such as collage and tracing, participants will be guided through various creative activities that explore themes of memory, time, intergenerational connection, and art-making as a means of sharing memories with loved ones. A light lunch will be served. For ages 5 and up. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to register.

Workshop leader: Saeun Song
Song is an artist and designer based in Toronto, currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Art Education at Concordia University. Her artistic journey began with a focus on fine art—particularly sculpture—during her bachelor’s studies, later followed by a master’s degree in Art Education in South Korea. This foundation shaped her career, leading her to create installations and murals in diverse cultural contexts across Korea, China, Jordan, and other countries. Deeply engaged with people and places, Song’s work explores how art connects communities and individuals. Alongside her artistic practice, she shares her passion through teaching at OCAD University, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and Sheridan College.
