Where do questions emerge from? We all have moments when we are puzzled by what we see around us, or feel unsure about something. How do we form everyday questions in our minds, and how does this shape the way we learn?Â
What is a fruitful question? How do one’s questions shape one’s personal horizon? This discussion-based philosophy course, offered in celebration of a symposium by the same name held 50 years ago at the Thomas More Institute, will explore the practice of questioning in our lives. The work of Bernard Lonergan will guide our discussions. This course will be bilingual—participants may express themselves in English or in French.
